I'm available at this clinic: Montreal - Downtown
Rémi Bergeron received his bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 2001 and is a member of l'Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec. He has been a part of the Action Sport Physio Downtown team since 2001.
Among many sporting events, Rémi has treated and covered artists from Cirque du Soleil at their main training facility here in Montreal. Rémi's interest for Sports Medicine led him to become Head Physiotherapist for the Montreal Men's Elite Gymnastic Team Père Sablon, from 2001 until 2007. This allowed Remi to work with upcoming international leveled gymnasts as well as Olympic hopefuls.
Rémi is passionate about many sports. Before he studied physiotherapy, he competed at the national level in alpine skiing and triathlon. Since 2000 he has participated in many adventure and expedition races and has been classified at an International Level in events throughout the United States, France, Spain, Brazil, and Mexico. Father of two very active boys, he is now concentrating on endurance running which is a better fit with a busy family schedule.
Rémi demonstrated an interest in teaching and supervising Physiotherapy students during their final stage. He obtained his Manual Therapy vertebral and peripheral manipulation certification in 2015. A passionate runner, he is known as an expert in the field. Since 2014, he is an active member of The Running Clinic. Since, he has had the chance to teach the best injury prevention and treatment approach for runners to hundreds of health professionals around the world.
