Isokinetic Training Biodex / Cybex

The theory behind isokinetic testing is muscle movement isolation.

By isolating muscle groups and assessing their capacity, therapists and personal trainers can identify weaknesses and address the problem.

This device is extremely useful in the post-operative rehabilitation process, particularly for assessing whether a muscle has regained its initial strength by comparing it with the non-operated side. In this way, objective data enables us to give “the go”, in agreement with the orthopedist, to a return to sport for a soccer athlete following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, for example.
