Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of Basalt river rocks, which are smooth, heated stones.

Hot Stone Massage
The basalt stones are heated to a constant temperature (generally between 50 and 60°C). The stones are generally placed on the back, more specifically on the spine and trapezius for maximum effectiveness. They can also be placed on the legs, thighs, stomach, arms and chest.
The massage therapist then glides the stones along the body, alternating frictions and simple effleures, depending on the patient's needs and the symptoms to be treated, and will use essential oils.
