Nutrition
Your diet plays a key role in your health, well-being, and everyday performance. At Action Sport Physio, you have access to dietitians-nutritionists (Dt.P.) who are members of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ).

Nutrition is an important part of a comprehensive approach to your health and well-being. Book an appointment to receive personalized guidance tailored to your lifestyle, needs, and goals.
What Happens During a Nutrition Consultation?
Nutritional Assessment and Personalized Plan
During your first appointment, your Dt.P. takes the time to better understand your situation. They will review relevant medical history, assess your eating habits and lifestyle, and discuss your needs and goals with you.
This assessment provides a comprehensive picture of your situation. Your nutrition professional can then develop a personalized nutrition treatment plan and provide recommendations suited to your needs and circumstances.
Follow-up appointments can then be used to assess your progress, adjust recommendations, and support you in making sustainable changes over time.
Online or In-Clinic Consultations
Depending on the services available, you can meet with your nutritionist in person at an Action Sport Physio clinic or choose an online consultation.
This flexibility can make nutrition services easier to access, especially if you live farther away or have a busy schedule. Virtual consultations are subject to the same professional standards as in-person consultations, with additional requirements related to privacy and information security.

Sports Nutrition, Weight Concerns, and Pediatric Nutrition
Nutritionists available through Action Sport Physio can support you in many areas of nutrition, including sports nutrition, weight management, and pediatric nutrition.
In sports nutrition, your nutritionist can help adapt your diet and hydration strategy to your sport, activity level, and training schedule. The goal may include supporting performance, recovery, and the energy demands associated with physical activity.
For weight concerns, the approach is personalized according to your health, habits, needs, and goals. Your nutritionist can help you make realistic and sustainable changes without unrealistic promises about results.
In pediatric nutrition, nutrition support can help promote healthy growth, contribute to the nutritional management of food allergies or intolerances, and encourage healthy eating habits from an early age.
Depending on the clinic and your needs, nutrition services may also be part of a multidisciplinary approach involving physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care.
