Do you want to understand your knee pain and receive an individualized treatment plan?
Have you tried other treatments and still have pain that persists? Are your symptoms preventing you from doing activities that you enjoy? Knee Kinesiography with the KneeKGTM system can give important insight to the underlying causes of your knee pain and help target your treatment plan to ensure a better outcome!
What is Knee Kinesiography?
The KneeKGTM system is a dynamic knee exam that is attached to the knee and evaluates the patient while they are walking on a treadmill. Similar to what the EKG is to the heart, this test allows you to know the state of function of the knee by detecting its movement. This helps your healthcare provider understand any biomechanical dysfunctions related to your symptoms. Unlike an X-Ray or MRI, which capture a picture of the joint in a static position, the KneeKGTM evaluates the patient while they are moving. This provides more information that can show correlation between your symptoms and your knee function.
Who should get a KneeKGTM?
Knee Kinesiography can be beneficial for the following conditions:
-Osteoarthritis
-Ligament injuries
-Anterior knee pain
-Meniscus injury
-Post surgical pain
-Other sports injuries such as sprain and strains
Inspirational testimonials!
After being diagnosed with osteoarthritis in his knees, Bruny Surin, a 1996 Olympic gold medalist, tried the KneeKGTM to help him stay active. Thanks to the treatment plan based on this data from the KneeKGTM, his knee pain went from 10/10 to 0!
After an injury in 2018, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, guard for the Kansas City Chiefs and medical graduate, felt that his rehabilitation was not quite optimal. He tried Knee Kinesiography with the KneeKGTM, and the treatment plan he received helped him fully recover from his injury. Weeks after his exam, he saw a significant improvement that allowed him to be the same athlete as before his injury and return to the game at 100% of his abilities. This experience also made him realize the need for a change in knee care for everyone, not just professional athletes.
