Biography
Ashima completed her Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy at the prestigious Christian Medical College Ludhiana in Punjab, India and has 5+ years of experience. She completed her physiotherapy equivalency training at McGill University, all while studying the french language with the aim of eventually mastering it. She is a licensed member of the OPPQ (Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec).
Ashima has completed several post-graduate training courses in orthopedic and vestibular physiotherapy, and has a special interest in treating neck, shoulder, back and ankle pains. She has a particular expertise in rehabilitating cases of Bell’s palsy and facial paralysis as well as experience and a keen interest in vestibular physiotherapy.
Ashima has worked diligently on expanding her scope of practice by completing further education in vestibular rehabilitation. She mostly treats clients for orthopaedics and vestibular rehabilitation of all age groups.
No matter what the time of year, Ashima loves to travel and explore new food ventures (veggie only!!). When she’s not working, she enjoys doing calligraphy and reading. Ashima is a kind and experienced physiotherapist, with expertise in several different domains of practice, who believes in helping each person achieve their full potential.
