Biography

Catherine Laguë graduated as a physiotherapist from the Université de Montréal Faculty of Medicine in 2012, the year in which she obtained her bachelor's degree in the physiotherapy program.

She then undertook her professional master's degree the following year.

Her research project, entitled L'évolution de la course à pied et ses impacts sur le corps humain (The evolution of running and its impact on the human body), was presented at a scientific conference and met with great success. Following this, her master's project was published on the Université de Montréal's official Papyrus website.

In addition to her training courses on the prevention of running injuries and the management of acute injuries at La Clinique du Coureur, Catherine has also animates workshops in running boutiques.

The world of sport has always fascinated her.

Another of her areas of interest is temporomandibular joint treatment. Catherine works closely with dentists, orthodontists and occlusion specialists.

She also adds to her practice the treatment of cervicogenic headaches, as well as vestibular rehabilitation: vertigo and positional dizziness. To date, she has completed the advanced level, which covers the assessment, treatment and differential diagnosis of positional vertigo.

With a constant thirst for learning, Catherine has obtained her Level II in manual therapy. She continues her ongoing training to keep her knowledge up to date and offer the best to her patients.

It's often said that a healthy mind is part of a healthy body.

That's why Catherine runs in her minimalist shoes. You're sure to come across her in the streets of Candiac on her bike or running with her three children!
