Biography
Marianne graduated in 2019 from McGill University with a Master’s and Bachelor’s
degree in Physical Therapy. She mostly treats
musculoskeletal (muscle, joints and nerves) conditions. She also holds special
interests in pelvic floor rehabilitation and pediatric health. She is a licensed member of the OPPQ (Ordre
Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec).
Throughout her career Marianne has found herself many mentors in physiotherapy. This had led her to acquire a great appreciation of various therapeutic approaches. More so it has helped her offer optimal care to different kinds of people at all stages in life, from infants to the elderly.
Moreover, she was a member of the Association Physio Montréal as a student. This opportunity gave her the chance to attend a multitude of conferences on various topics in physical therapy. Amongst others, the various topics included yoga, mindfulness, temporo-mandibular pain (TMJ) and pediatric torticollis. As a professional, she continues to stay informed on the new research in healthcare and she is a strong advocate of evidence-based practice.
Other than being a physiotherapist, Marianne is a karate instructor and has been practicing for over 15 years. She is also a fan of outdoor activities such snow boarding, dragon boating, bouldering and hiking.
Her mission as a physiotherapist along with her team at Action Sport Physio Lachine is to enable her clients to acquire their therapeutic goals along with getting rid of their pain. She is also a strong believer in optimizing functional abilities and allowing clients to enjoy their activities pain-free.
