Biography
Who is Johanne?
Overall health is an integral part of my daily life, physical, emotional and spiritual, hence my profession as an osteopath.
I enjoy spending time with my daughters by hiking in the mountains, going to the gym, or doing yoga.
Badminton, pickleball and swimming are other sports I enjoy. Through these activities, I make time to read and practice meditation daily.
Training and professional skills
I first completed my training in physical rehabilitation at Collège Montmorency in Laval, in 1996. This training provided me with a solid foundation before undertaking my osteopathic studies, from which I graduated in 2017 from the École Professionnelle des Ostéopathes du Québec (ÉPOQ).
I also have training in psychomotor therapy, the Padovan Method, as well as several other related and complementary training programs to osteopathy including Qi Gong.
Here is an overview of my certifications:
Physical Rehabilitation Technology: graduated in 1996
Padovan Method : 5 module course completes in 2007. This method allows individuals to find or regain functional autonomy. It stimulates the brain’s natural potential and opens new avenues for learning and recovery.
Osteopathy : course completing 2017. Comprehensive training where the body as a whole is central to our approach.
Continuing Education in Osteopathy :
- Thorax and Respiratory Tract
- Neck Pain
- Pelvis and Hips, Fascial Approach
- Clinical Safety
- Visceral
- etc
“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change.” And “Take out the trash” are quotes from movies that highlight overcoming adversity. We agree that taking out the rubbish is obviously a way to clean your head and make room for something new…
