Biography
Gabrielle Caruana
graduated with distinction from McGill University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s
degree in Rehabilitation Science, and with a Master in 2020. During her
studies, Gabrielle had the chance to be a therapist for the McGill men and
women’s basketball teams for two years, as well as the McGill women’s rugby
team for one year. During this opportunity, she learned to do tapings, and
respond quickly on and off the field. She then continued with her love of
the field by being the on field physiotherapist of the women’s U17AAA and
senior AAA soccer teams for Révolution the last two years respectively.
Gabrielle has always
been passionate about sports, having played soccer during her studies, as well
as figure skating. Her time as a competitive soccer player allowed her to
become experienced with the benefits of physiotherapy after an injury which
then sparked her passion in this profession. Gabrielle continues to play soccer
recreationally, as well as enjoys playing tennis, skating and hiking. Her love
of sports and student athletes has allowed her to be accredited by the CDESL,
since June 2021. This allows her to treat and follow young Sports Études
students in the area.
She is currently pursuing her level 3 in manual therapy with the AQPMA and is constantly looking to develop her skills. She is passionate about helping her patients and would love to help you get back on your feet!
