Who is Maria ?

Soon to be graduating in Kinesiology from the Université du Québec à Montréal, I aspire to practice my profession and help individuals improve their lifestyle habits through physical activity. In my free time, I enjoy running and searching for the best latte in the city, two passions I often combine. My next big personal goal is to complete my very first marathon! It’s a challenge that constantly pushes me to exceed my limits and cultivate discipline in my daily life.

Training and professional skills

As part of my academic training, I completed a one-year internship in a Family Medicine Group (GMF), where I supported symptomatic patients in their care and in their journey toward healthier lifestyle habits. This experience allowed me to develop strong skills in assessment, individualized intervention, and client supervision. I also led group sessions focused on healthy weight management, fostering a motivating environment tailored to participants’ needs.
