I'm available at this clinic: Montreal - Downtown
OAQ, FQM, AAQ
Evelyne is a graduate of Collège de Rosemont in acupuncture and a member of the OAQ (Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec) and the AAQ (Association des Acupuncteurs du Québec) since 2007. Evelyne was also trained in kinetic Swedish massage techniques and sports massage at the Kiné-Concept Institute between 2003 and 2004. Among other things, she worked as a massage therapist in a fitness center and a health center for several years before devoting herself more to the practice of acupuncture. In the summer of 2006, she participated as a sports massage therapist at the FINA (International Swimming Federation) World Championships in Montreal. In 2007, she completed an advanced training course in acupuncture and Tuina massage at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. In the winter of 2008, Action Sport Physio Centre-Ville welcomed Evelyne as an acupuncturist. She also continues to share with us her precious years of experience in massage therapy.
Over the past few years, she has also attended several continuing education seminars related to her clinical interests, including some on the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain using the relaxation point approach (similar to the UASD practiced by physiotherapists), Japanese and aesthetic acupuncture, as well as specific training in gynecology and obstetrics for the treatment of pregnant women in acupuncture. More recently, she has been trained in pediatric acupuncture, dietetics and craniopuncture for the treatment of neurological diseases.
Empathetic, motivated and generous, this therapist is attentive to her patients and concerned about their well-being. Outside of work, Evelyne enjoys cycling, swimming and snowboarding. She is also well acquainted with rock climbing, having done so for several years. To relax, she is passionate about yoga, music and cooking.
