Biography
T. Phys, OPPQ, FQM
A 2006 graduate of Cégep Montmorency in physiotherapy technology and a member in good standing of the OPPQ, Marie-Josée has always had a keen interest in sports medicine.
She has followed several sports teams such as the Patriots of Cégep St-Laurent (field hockey, soccer, flag soccer) from 2007 to 2009, the Patriots of St-Stanislas High School (soccer) in 2008, the Wolves of Poly-Jeunesse High School (soccer) in 2006 and the Selects of nord midget espoir (field hockey) in 2004.
Throughout her career, Marie-Josée has enhanced her qualifications by participating in several continuing education programs such as Neuro-proprioceptive Taping 1-2, Dynamic Tape, Running Injury Prevention, Shoulder Muscle Control, Demystifying Capsulitis, Lumbar Stabilization, and Lower Limb Muscle Control. She has completed the 3 levels of Structural Myofascial Therapy. To give more services to her clients, she has completed her training in massage therapy and is a member of the FQM.
A true athlete, she played field hockey for 17 years, participating in the Canada Games in 1999, playing for CEGEP St-Laurent from 2001-2003. She now enjoys running.
