Biography

Florence completed her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Montreal in 2016. Having always been passionate about sports and having played high-level soccer since her early childhood, it was through her various soccer injuries that she was exposed to physical therapy and wanted to make it her profession.

Following her graduation, Florence worked in a private clinic with a variety of clients. She has also participated in several sporting events (marathons, Rogers Cup) and has given many presentations to runners (Runners' Corner) and doctors on various subjects. Having undergone surgery herself for a complete anterior cruciate ligament tear in 2017, Florence enjoys treating sports injuries and accompanying her patients in their return to physical activity.

In order to always offer diversified and quality services to her patients, Florence continues to deepen her knowledge by following various continuing education courses such as Manual Therapy Level 1 and 2 at AQPMO, Level A and B of the Mckenzie Approach, the Mulligan Lower Quadrant Concept as well as the Physiotherapist X-Ray Prescription Course. Through her years of practice, Florence has developed a particular interest in the treatment of concussions and jaw disorders. She has therefore specialized in the last few years by completing various courses on head trauma including IMPACT training and training on the evaluation and treatment of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Finally, Florence has an interest in soccer, boxing, hiking, running and cycling. She also plays the piano and enjoys cooking and singing in her spare time.
