Maira Prado Physiotherapist Owner

Maira Prado has been working as a clinician, university professor, spokesperson and researcher in her native Venezuela for 20 years in the field of physiotherapy before moving to Quebec. Having collaborated with doctors and other paramedical professionals such as nutritionists, gynaecologists, kinesiologists, occupational therapists and psychologists, Maira has been able to develop various techniques and approaches in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, particularly for the elderly.

In addition, Maira's curiosity and keen sense of professional responsibility motivate her to keep herself regularly informed of the latest methods of intervention.

Lastly, after completing the professional qualification process, Maira is now a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec.

Her areas of interest are exercise prescription, commitment to physical activity, chronic injuries and the ageing process. Apart from physiotherapy, her passions are cycling (which she even practices in winter), salsa dancing and spending time with her family.
