Marie-Lou Toussaint Physiotherapy Technologist (Physical Rehabilitation Therapist)

Marie-Lou obtained her DEC in physiotherapy from Collège Montmorency in May 2023. During her studies, she completed an internship at the HSCM and in a private clinic in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Having tried several sports, Marie-Lou has been playing volleyball for the past 6 years.

She has played for several teams including the Rafales de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the Cuivre et Or de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the civilian team the Voyageurs de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue as well as the Nomades du Collège Montmorency. Victim of a subluxation of her elbow in 2016, Marie-Lou was able to observe the field of physiotherapy during her rehabilitation. It was during that time that she fell in love with the profession.

Having participated in several tournaments, training camps and a Canadian championship, she understands what sports can ask of the human body.

Marie-Lou now plans to pursue her studies in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal.

In her spare time, she works out, hikes, plays volleyball and reads.
