I'm available at this clinic: Sherbrooke
mélie obtained her Master's degree in physiotherapy from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2015 and is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).
At the end of her university education, she was the recipient of the Action Sport Physio Scholarship for her sporting involvement during her university studies. Since then, in addition to her role as a physiotherapist, Amélie has been in charge of coordinating sporting events at the clinic. These functions lead her to collaborate with the coaches and athletes of several sports organizations affiliated with the clinic such as the Club de rugby des Abénakis de Sherbrooke, the Club de soccer du Mistral de Sherbrooke and Soccer Estrie through the Triolet soccer study program.
Amélie is currently completing her certification in sport physiotherapy and remains very involved on the field. In addition, Amélie has chosen to add to her skills the training in vestibular physiotherapy, which allows her to assess and treat people with symptoms of vertigo and dizziness.
She is also actively involved in the management of athletes with concussions and offers a proactive and comprehensive service based on the most recent evidence. It is also certified for the prevention of running injuries. It can therefore be of great help in optimizing your running pattern and to give the right information about the choice of shoe to choose.
