Joshua Emmanuel Mayo Physiotherapy Technologist (Physical Rehabilitation Therapist)

Joshua Emmanuel Mayo is a licensed physiotherapist technologist registered with L’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). Joshua graduated from the Physiotherapy Technology Program at Dawson College in 2023.

Joshua has had the opportunity to work with patients at the geriatric center, Jewish Eldercare Centre (JEC), helping residents maintain their functional abilities to perform activities of daily living, this includes residents who suffered from strokes, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and/or dementia. Joshua also had the opportunity to work at the orthopedics department at St-Mary’s Hospital, as well as working at the Dawson College Health Clinic (DCHC). 

Since he was a child, Joshua has been active in different sports and physical activities, such as basketball, practicing karate, just to name a few. Currently, he enjoys weightlifting and bodybuilding, which encouraged him to learn more about the anatomy and biomechanics of the human body
