Collin Dobie Physiotherapist

Collin has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Concordia University with a specialization in clinical exercise physiology, and a master's degree in physiotherapy from McGill University. He is a licensed member of l'Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

Collin discovered his passion for physiotherapy after successfully rehabilitating a basketball-related knee injury and has since been passionate about delivering the same life-changing results to all his patients.   

Thanks to his strong background in clinical exercise prescription, Collin emphasizes a hands-on, functional, patient-first approach that empowers patients to be involved in their own treatment. He has experience working in hospital settings, neurological rehabilitation, nursing homes, strength & conditioning gyms, and lived in Waswanipi (a Cree Nation village in Northern Quebec) for 2 months delivering physiotherapy care. He is dedicated to providing optimal and inclusive healthcare to a diverse range of patients, including athletes, older adults, post-operative individuals, those dealing with chronic pain, and everyone in between.   

Collin has completed continuing education courses in manual therapy, including Mulligan techniques for the treatment of neck and upper extremity conditions. He has also passed the level 1 Manual Therapy exam and has taken a strong interest in the McKenzie method, planning to take courses to treat lower, middle and upper back pain with this approach.
