Qian Yu Zhao Physiotherapist

Qian is a graduate of the Professional Master's degree in Physiotherapy from McGill University and a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). During her training, she acquired various skills including manual therapy, McKenzie treatment and is certified in joint manipulation techniques and x-ray prescription.

Throughout her studies, Qian has had the opportunity to diversify her knowledge and skills by working with different clinical populations with various health problems. During her internships, she treated orthopedic, cardiovascular and neurological disorders at the Montreal General Hospital, the Catherine Booth Hospital, the Physiotherapy Active Solution Clinic (McKenzie method) and during her neurology internship in Belgium. While at McGill, Qian participated as a student therapist for the cross-country and track and field teams, as well as for the McGill women's rugby team. She has also taken additional courses in sports physiotherapy and advanced manual therapy during her education.

Qian is dedicated to providing the best care to her patients by always striving to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses. Her main goal is to optimize the functional ability of her patients so that they can continue to do the activities they love! With her empathy, enthusiasm and active listening, she is ready to heal your pain and work together to achieve your goals.

In her spare time, Qian enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog. She also stays active by working out at the gym, doing yoga, hiking and downhill skiing.
