Arthur graduated from McGill University with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences (major in Physiotherapy) completed with distinction. He is officially certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). He is a member of both the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Arthur is actively involved on a national scale as a committee member on the Pain Science Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
With him, you can expect a thorough, optimal, and scientific evidence-based evaluation and treatment. He believes in an active treatment approach, individualized to your needs, goals, and personal pain experience, with an equal focus on recovery and prevention.
Arthur completed the four-part series of post-graduate courses, and passed the written and practical Credentialing Examination for the McKenzie Method in MDT. He has also taken several other continuing education courses: Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP); Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science; Jeremy Lewis's Shoulder course; Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy; Manual Therapy Level 1 and 2; Explain Pain; How to Manage Complex Pain; Practical Aspects of Clinical Exercise Prescription; Mobilization of the Myofascial System (lower quadrant); Functional Movement Screen (FMS); Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). In addition, he has been regularly attending (and has presented at) the annual national congress of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 2012, benefiting from the most up-to-date knowledge presented and shared by the country's leading experts.
In hopes of pushing the current knowledge in physiotherapy, he has completed three research projects, two of which have been published in Physiotherapy Canada, the official scholarly journal of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Arthur is committed to self-directed lifelong learning, continuously reading research papers, books and blogs, as well as gaining advanced skills through post-graduate continuing education courses.
Outside of physiotherapy, Arthur spends his leisure time doing martial arts, working out at the gym, and simply relaxing in the company of his friends and family.
