Maude Vaillancourt Physiotherapist
I'm available at this clinic: Saint-Hyacinthe
Maude completed her Master's degree in Physiotherapy from Laval University in Quebec City in December 2020, having already earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the same university in 2017. To complement her academic training, during her last three years of university, she was involved in sports physiotherapy as a student trainer with high school and college soccer and basketball teams.
Maude continues to be involved with various sports teams in soccer, field hockey, and gymnastics. She has also completed her first responder training and is beginning concussion management training. In addition, she has completed her first training in manual therapy and plans to continue developing her expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Maude did her first Master's internship with a neurodegenerative clientele, while her final internship was done in a private clinic with a varied clientele. Having enjoyed both internship settings, Maude enjoys treating all types of clients using an individualized approach to meet the different goals of her patients.
On a personal level, Maude is an avid athlete. She has practiced CrossFit for several years, as well as being a trainer, and has taken several weightlifting courses. She has also competed in dance at the national level. She still enjoys running, hiking, biking, wakeboarding as well as weight training.
