Biography
A graduate of the Collège de Rosemont in acupuncture and a member of the Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec, as well as the Association des Acupuncteurs du Québec, since June 2022, Chanel has a particular interest in sports acupuncture, the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and pain management, among others.
During her studies, she participated in sports events by accompanying acupuncturists, to prepare athletes mentally and to relieve their injuries or muscular tensions; PWHPA (professional women's field hockey players association) & Le Royal de Montréal (professional ultimate frisbee team).
Chanel has taken other trainings such as: Neuro-meridian integrative acupuncture (module 1), Trigger point massage (Kineconcept), Cupping level 1 (Institue Axis), and Fascial movement taping for medical professionals (Rocktape).
Her approach is an integration of neuroscience (scientific studies of the nervous system) and traditional Chinese acupuncture.
In her free time, she practices several sports such as: mountain biking, crossfit, yoga, rock climbing and backcountry skiing.
