I'm available at this clinic: Montreal - Downtown
Nathalie started her career at Action Sport Physio Downtown 12 years ago as a physiotherapist. From 2011-2014, she was transferred to the Cirque du Soleil’s head office where she was a performance medicine therapist where she was involved in the rehabilitation of complex orthopedic and post-surgical cases, and subsequently as a therapist during the creation of shows Amaluna and Michael Jackson: One. For two years (2013-2014), she acted as head therapist at the National Circus School to ensure the prevention and rehabilitation of students and ensure the proper functioning of the department in addition to the establishment of administrative and emergency protocols in the studios. She then went on tour from 2014-2018 as a performance medicine therapist with the show Kurios. Her role was prevention, rehabilitation of touring artists, and the establishment of the medical network in each city visited.
From 2018-2021, she was the head therapist for the Alegria show. She was mainly responsible for the performance medicine department during studio creation, including the development of administrative protocols and emergency protocols, inventory management (budget), and the integration of staff within the organization of the Cirque du Soleil. Following the closure of all Cirque touring shows and her return to Montreal, Nathalie decided to get actively involved in the Montreal community. Her goal was to help with the Covid crisis by getting involved as a manager at the CIUSSS Center-Sud and the screening clinic in the home support component (screening in different settings including CHSLD, RI, RAC, CJ, RPA, and homes) for people who are less mobile.
Throughout her impressive career, she has continued to deepen her clinical knowledge through a multitude of professional trainings. In addition to being an experienced and highly skilled physiotherapist, she continues to develop her expertise with new tools such as Pilates and Knee Kinesiography (Knee KG). Her critical thinking and managerial skills make her the ideal person to lead our Downtown clinic.
