Liana Perugino Physiotherapist

Liana Perugino completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy at McGill University. She is a licensed member of the Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).

Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Liana earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. It was during this process that she truly developed a passion for physiotherapy, as a clinical application of anatomy in a way that was meaningful for patients.

Liana’s particular areas of professional interest include orthopedics, manual therapy and pelvic floor rehabilitation. In fact, her physiotherapy Master’s project investigated the psychometric properties of a tone scale to be used in pelvic floor treatments. She has already completed her certificate for the pelvic floor rehabilitation of female urinary incontinence, as well as Level 1 of Manual Therapy. Liana plans to further her manual therapy and pelvic floor rehabilitation competencies via continuing education.

In her leisure time, Liana enjoys travelling, baking and spending time with her friends and family.
