Our Occupational Therapy Services at Action Sport Physio Île Perrot
What is Occupational Therapy?
Activity is one of the core concepts of occupational therapy. It is the subject of this field and the preferred treatment method. Our health care professionals help their patients with persistent pain and limitations to optimize the abilities needed to perform and organize daily, domestic, leisure and work activities in order to regain independence and autonomy in their daily lives.
A musculoskeletal disorder has repercussions not only at the level of biomechanical structures, but also affects all spheres of daily life. By making sure that all these factors are taken into consideration, our occupational therapists can help you find ways to adapt and better manage your activities in order to reduce their impact on your injury. We will help you achieve your personal goals in a way that is unique to each individual.
