What is Occupational Therapy?
Activity is one of the core concepts of occupational therapy. It is the subject of this field and the preferred treatment method. Our Occupational Therapists
Christine A. Messiha
Christine is one
of the owners and an occupational therapist at ASP Île Perrot. She graduated
from McGill University in 2010 and holds a Master’s degree in Occupational
Therapy. She stands out for her experience in mental health and cognitive stimulation,
as well as for her knowledge in adapting postural techniques for work,
activities of daily living and home activities, and pain management techniques.
In addition, she has been working for several years in hand therapy helping
individuals either post-surgical hand surgery or following musculoskeletal
injuries affecting the function of their upper limb.
She is passionate about the field of rehabilitation and in helping individuals regain their independence in their activities.
