Thai successfully completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physical Therapy at McGill University in 2020. He is a licensed member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec.
Thai mostly treats musculoskeletal conditions and sport-related injuries. He also has experience in neurological and cancer rehabilitation. Thai employs a variety of treatment approaches to offer the best care possible to a diverse population of different age groups.
During his university training, Thai gained a variety of skills in manual therapy, exercise training, and therapeutic modalities. He interned in various healthcare settings, including private practice, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers where he treated a wide range of musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions. Thai further enhanced his skills in Physical Therapy by volunteering as an assistant therapist for the McGill Varsity Women’s Basketball team. He also volunteered to help independent-living seniors gain more autonomy and confidence in their participation in community outings. Moreover, Thai taught physical and occupational therapy students of subsequent cohorts in his role as teaching assistant at McGill University.
Outside of working and continuing professional development, Thai enjoys training at the gym, hiking, and playing badminton. He was trained competitively in badminton and has been playing for over 10 years. He also enjoys watching TV, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Together with the team at Action Sport Physio Lachine, Thai’s purpose is to help clients perform their desired activities without pain and discomfort. He believes firmly in the importance of injury prevention, especially for those who strive to begin a more active lifestyle.
