Yannick is a French osteopath and member of Osteopathy Quebec. He graduated from the Centre Européen d'Enseignement Supérieur de l'Ostéopathie (Ceeso-Paris) in 2006. He spent three years in France creating his own practice and working with adults, the elderly, pregnant women and their babies, and athletes, who he would follow in professional competitions. He worked with the EHEO Handicapped children-osteopathy" association, which provides osteopathic treatments to physically and mentally handicapped children. Since moving to Quebec, he has been involved in teaching and works closely with high-level athletes such as circus athletes. He also sits on the board of admission of his professional association.
In order to perfect his knowledge and practice, he completed a Master of Science (Research) in Rehabilitation Science in 2013. He has participated in many research projects while completing his master's degree, which have either been or will be published. An article he wrote on the Role of proprioceptive information to control balance during gait in healthy and hemiparetic individuals was published in the Gait & Posture journal in 2014:
Yannick is very much interested in biopsychosocial factors and the neurobiology of pain. Currently a PhD candidate in neuroscience at Université de Montréal, he studies the contribution of several brain structures in the coordination between posture and movement. Yannick is also a member of the university's ethics committee (CDEA).
When he is not at the clinic or at the lab, Yannick is keen on cultural activities and spends time with his family."
