I'm available at this clinic: Lachine
Christina graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S) in Rehabilitation Science in 2013, and a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2015. In addition to her achievements at McGill University, Christina also recently completed a 2 year graduate program in Perineal and Pelvic Rehabilitation from the Université de Montréal in 2019.
With this accreditation in pelvic floor rehabilitation, Christina is able to treat both men and women with perineal and pelvic issues; issues such as pelvic pain, urinary and\or fecal incontinence (stress and urgency), pre and post- partum education, as well as most pelvic floor dysfunctions that may arise post-surgery or post cancer treatments.
Christina has experience in a number of medical environments supporting patients in a clinic setting, and a vast experience in a hospital setting working as part of the CIUSSS de L’Ouest de l’ile de Montreal.
Christina's strength is her ability to listen to her clients and provide the education they need to have a successful outcome. Christina feels the most important aspect of successful rehabilitation is good communication and trust between client and physiotherapist as well as fostering an educational environment for long term maintenance of health and optimal functionality.
As an active individual, Christina loves to put into practice what she preaches, making time outside of work for yoga, fitness classes, and outdoor activities. Christina also puts a heavy amount of emphasis on women's health, and strives to continue her educational pursuit in the pelvic floor rehabilitation field.
While Christina has had the ability to make an impact on patients in a wide variety of physiotherapy areas, she specializes and focuses is on the following areas:
- Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
