Mylène graduated with a bachelor's degree in osteopathy in December 2009. She studied at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathique de Montréal (CEO). In June 2011, she submitted a thesis for a post-graduate clinical training certificate, as well as her diploma in osteopathy from Quebec D.O. (Qc). The subject of her thesis was the influence of osteopathic treatment on the quality of life of parents of children with autism. During her studies, she participated in a humanitarian mission to Peru to treat disadvantaged individuals.
After graduating, Mylène perfected her skills in pediatrics and obstetrics. She attended post-graduate training courses such as: plagiocephaly, skull development in children, movement and motor development in children, treatment of children with behavioural disorders, and rhythmic movement approach. In addition, she completed a training as a birth attendant in 2018.
In recent years, Mylène has also taken part in osteopathic seminars on posture observation, somato-emotional work, glandular dysfunctions, endocranial spasms, concussions, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and specific adjustment techniques.
Although her focus is on pediatrics and obstetrics, Mylène is also interested in all age groups, specifically the treatment of sports adults and children, the treatment of concussions and the treatment of people diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Mylène joined Action Sport Physio in May 2010.
