Laura is a dedicated physiotherapist, mother of two and lover of sports. Since her years of competitive sports, physiotherapy has been a profession to which she is very passionate. In fact, it was while playing volleyball for ten years that she discovered a huge interest in healing physical injuries.
Laura’s academic career began with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy obtained in Romania and recognized by the MRCI. Afterwards, she completed a refresher courses at the School of Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal in order to hold a place in the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec.
After graduation, she completed a multitude of internships including several in outpatient musculoskeletal and geriatric medicine, as well as one in neurology. She worked for seven years, from 2011 to 2018, at CLSC Côte-des-Neiges, where the work is quite varied. She has managed both acute postoperative problems, PTG-PTH, as well as everyday injuries. She also worked for two years at the Nuvo Physio clinic on complex musculoskeletal cases in various pathologies. Her time at the Nuvo Clinic has given her great professional fulfillment.When she leaves the professional sphere in the evenings and on weekends, Laura’s life remains full. She spends a lot of time with her children. She loves to go skating, swimming and playing volleyball with them to teach them good life habits. She also makes sure to cultivate healthy interpersonal relationships with her friends to help her lead a balanced life.
