Biography

Emilia Mastrofrancesco graduated from Concordia University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in an Athletic Therapy Specialization. She is a member in good standing of La Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sport du Québec (CTSQ), as well as a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA). Emilia is actively involved in the community and works with many local sporting events and clubs.
Throughout her clinical and field placements, Emilia gained experience working with diverse populations such as recreational athletes, semi-professional athletes, student athletes, as well as the general population with orthopedic injuries. She works with many types of sports teams in Montreal and Sherbrooke, including: soccer, rugby, hockey, football, basketball, lacrosse, and several others. She provides athletes with pre-game taping, as well as emergency care on-field and any post-injury rehabilitation. Emilia also has experience providing athletes with return to play exercise programs, from basic training, to plyometrics and Olympic weightlifting.
She has also worked for several high-performance sports teams and associations including, Rugby-Québec, Concordia University, Bishop's University, and Club du Soccer Longueil Semi-Pro and Cirque Éloize.
Outside of the clinic, Emilia enjoys working out at the gym, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
