Assistant Therapist Osteopathy intern
I'm available at this clinic: West Island
Lidia, an osteopathy student who works as an osteopathy intern. She is in the process of completing her studies in osteopathy at the Academy of Osteopathy of Montreal (AOM). She obtained a DEC in physical rehabilitation in 2015 from Collège Montmorency.
She devoted years of her life to sports, which prompted her to pursue her studies in osteopathy. She is passionate about the human body and how it works. She strongly believes in a holistic approach and in osteopathic principles, and in the interrelation between the structure and function of the human body. She believes in taking care of the whole person, always striving to find the root cause of the client's problem, and respecting the body's natural strength.
Lidia is very interested in fitness and sport and she plays soccer in 2 COED teams. She spends her free time playing other sports such as hockey, volleyball and tennis, as well as weight training, traveling and hiking.
Lidia hopes that one day she will work with athletes or be affiliated with a sports organization.
She offers myofascial release, cranial therapy, visceral therapy, joint normalization and muscle energy techniques. In addition, she is also trained in taping (KT-tape) and in cupping.
