Biography

Ariane Guindon, Certified Athletic Therapist, graduated from Concordia University in 2020, where she obtained her Bachelor of Exercise Science with a specialization in Sports Therapy with distinction. She was also on the Dean's List for her last two years of study with an annual GPA of at least 3.75. She is a member in good standing of the Canadian Association for Sports Therapy (ACTS) and the Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sport du Québec (CTSQ).

During her years of study, Ariane had the opportunity to treat athletes from the UQAM women's and men's basketball teams and students from Curé-Antoine-Labelle high school and Jean-Eudes College. She has also worked with the general public having completed her final internship at the PERFORM Center Athletic Therapy Clinic, totaling 1,200 internship hours over her four years of study.

As an athletic therapist, Ariane specializes in the prevention, assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. She also has a wealth of knowledge in physical training, which enables her to design optimal warm-up, conditioning and rehabilitation programs to suite her patient's needs. Ariane also uses concussion assessment and management tools. She is also certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Sports First Responder (SFR), which allows her to cover sporting events.

Ariane is passionate about health and sports, listens to her patients and always seeks to provide them with the best care. In addition to her professional activities, she practices running, hiking, cooking, and drawing.
