I'm available at this clinic: Blainville
Alexandre completed his master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2010. Following his graduation, he worked for 8 years at the Centre Claude-Robillard clinic in sports physiotherapy, where he treated a multitude of athletes at all levels (from recreational to Olympic). He was chief therapist for 5 years on the Ahuntsic College sports teams (football / soccer / basketball / volleyball / badminton) and for 3 years at Concordia Soccer School in Montreal. He was a member of the Excellence Sportive de l'Île de Montréal during these years, where he had the opportunity to address the hopes of tomorrow. For family reasons, he decided to leave Montreal to live in the Laurentians, where he and his wife Joëlle Belleau opened the Action Sport Physio Blainville clinic in October 2018 with the firm intention of offering the same quality of services and treatments.
In order to perfect his knowledge of physiotherapy, Alexandre has completed his level 3 manual therapy courses (upper and lower limbs) at the Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique (AQPME). He has also received training in running injuries, allowing him to do running analyses and specialized treatments in running. Other training courses on temporomandibular joint, specific shoulder treatments and concussion management at the Institut National du Sport are examples of expertise he has sought in order to improve his clinical and sports field skills.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Alexandre was a top-level fencing athlete. A member of the Canadian fencing team for several years, he became Canadian champion in 2005 in foil. He is now a passionate fan of cardiovascular sports (triathlon), which he regularly plays, as well as soccer.
