I'm available at this clinic: Valleyfield
In addition to graduating with a master's degree in physiotherapy from the Université de Montréal in 2013, Cynthia worked for a season with the Les Carabins football team, and then with the Ahuntsic football team.
She joined Action Sport Physio in September 2013 and currently works at the Valleyfield clinic, where she treats various types of orthopedic injuries. She also took part in the care of local sports teams, particularly football (Black and Gold and EBSF), and is involved in various sports events. In her care, she uses different techniques such as manual therapy, myofascial techniques, sports/neuro-proprioceptive taping, and others.
Since returning from maternity leave, she has also been working with a pediatric clientele, particularly in the treatment of torticollis/plagiocephaly and motor development delays in toddlers. She also offers perineal and pelvic rehabilitation care for pregnant women or after childbirth, and for any woman dealing with urinary incontinence or prolapse issues. Furthermore, Cynthia recently completed a course on the use of dry needles and now offers dry needling (physiotherapy puncture with dry needles) treatments.
From an academic standpoint, she pursued her postgraduate training by completing various courses in pediatrics, neuro-musculoskeletal injury treatment, running injury prevention, etc.
