I'm available at this clinic: Town of Mount Royal
After completing studies in social history and in medical history at Université de Sherbrooke and Université Laval, Isabelle taught history and second languages in California for several years before returning to Quebec in 2008. She then taught English at the high school level for 4 years before making a career shift towards massage therapy in 2012. She graduated from the Kine-Concept Institute in Swedish Kinetics Massage. She underwent further training in various aspects of massage therapy, such as passive mobilizations, trigger points, deep tissue massage and chair massage.
Isabelle started her training in osteopathy in 2013 and is in her 5th year of studies. She provides treatments in fasciatherapy, cranial therapy, myofascial release, visceral therapy, joint normalization and muscle energy techniques. She has also been trained in sports intervention in osteopathy and neuro-proprioceptive taping (K-taping). This allows her to better know and treat the various pathologies related to the practice of different sports. In her therapeutic approach to massage therapy, she integrates several of the techniques she has learned in order to maximize the benefits to her clients.
As a volunteer therapist, she has worked with triathletes, swimmers, long-distance runners, and is also involved with disadvantaged families as a student in osteopathy.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music as well as skiing in the winter and windsurfing in the summer, a sport for which she competed as an amateur in the United States.
