Biography
Wayne graduated from the Physiotherapy Technology Program at Dawson College on June 2024. He is a licensed physiotherapist technologist registered with l’Ordre professionnel de la physiotherapie du Quebec (OPPQ)
During one of his internships at Catherine Booth Hospital, Wayne gained experience in working with patients undergoing rehabilitation after knee and hip replacement surgeries, as well as working with those recovering from shoulder fractures. He also worked with orthopedic patients at facilities like Shriners Hospitals for Children - Canada and the Dawson College Health Clinic (DCHC). Additionally, he has worked with geriatric populations at Maimonides (DBM) and the Jewish Eldercare Centre (JEC), focusing primarily on elderly patients managing conditions such as strokes, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
Combining his role as a basketball coach within the Filipino community with his knowledge in injury prevention, this is the driving force behind Wayne's career choice. He also loves to work out and is an avid video gamer.
