Biography
Who is Tamara?
Originally from Mascouche, I am an active person with a strong passion for movement. You may occasionally see me around the area practicing my favorite sports, including running, cycling, and tennis. I have a deep appreciation for nature and enjoy outdoor adventures just as much as relaxing with a good novel on quieter days.
Training and professional skills
I am a physiotherapist and hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Université de Sherbrooke, which I completed in 2021. Passionate about sports and overall health, I further enhanced my academic background by completing training as a First Responder in sports settings. Wanting to broaden my scope of practice beyond musculoskeletal injuries, I also completed a microprogram in pelvic and perineal rehabilitation at the Université de Montréal between 2021 and 2024.
Here is an overview of my certifications:
· Sport First Responder: Provides medical coverage for sporting events (e.g., gymnastics, football, hockey).
· Microprogram in Pelvic and Perineal Rehabilitation: Provides care for women experiencing urinary or fecal incontinence, pain during sexual intercourse, as well as pregnancy and postpartum follow-up.
· Clinique du Coureur – Levels 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3: Supports runners and athletes experiencing overuse injuries.
Move today, is an investment in your health tomorrow.
