Biography
Who is Sarah?
From a young age, I have always enjoyed connecting with people and felt a strong desire to help others in meaningful ways. This naturally led me to the field of occupational therapy, as its core values focus on promoting independence, meaningful engagement, and viewing each person holistically across all areas of life. As an occupational therapist, my goal is to create a safe, warm, and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and confident throughout their recovery. I value listening to people’s unique stories and experiences, as they often shape the path forward. Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me traveling - learning from the world around me and discovering new people, cultures, and perspectives along the way!
Training and professional skills
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology in 2023 and my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2025, both at McGill University. I am a member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) and a CAOT-certified occupational therapist.
Through my clinical training and professional experiences, I have worked with clients across the lifespan in pediatrics, geriatrics, acute care, and work ergonomics. These experiences strengthened my ability to view each client holistically and support them in returning to work or re-engaging in activities that bring meaning to their lives.
Here is an overview of my certifications :
Certified CarFit Technician: Certification provided by CAOT allowing the delivery of safety education and in-vehicle adjustments to improve comfort, ergonomics, and injury prevention while driving.
National Occupational Therapist Certification: CAOT-certified occupational therapist through successful completion of the National Occupational Therapy Certification Examination.
