Biography
Who is Samuel?
I am someone who enjoys learning, who is curious, attentive, and who, above all, wants to help people. That is why I chose the profession of physiotherapist and even went back to school to become an osteopath. You will have guessed that a good part of my free time has been devoted to learning, which I consider a hobby. Otherwise, I enjoy being active, whether it’s working out at the gym, running, inline skating, hiking, or paddleboarding. I also like sharing moments with family and friends. Going forward, I wish to continue exploring the world and traveling to every continent in order to learn about different cultures and to marvel at architecture and landscapes.
Training and professional skills
In order to become a physiotherapist, I completed my Bachelor’s-Master’s program at the Université de Montréal, which lasted four and a half years. Upon completing this training in 2016, I was able to obtain my license to practice and become a member of the Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec. I then completed a six-year program to become an Osteopath (D.O.) in 2025. I have been practicing osteopathy since 2023, after passing the mid-term exam granting me the title of Osteopathy Intern (I.O.). Afterwards, I pursued additional training that allowed me to refine my knowledge and develop new skills.
Here is an overview of my certifications:
- Vestibular Rehabilitation: Assessment and treatment of individuals experiencing dizziness or vertigo.
- Knee Kinesiography: Gait assessment using a device that captures movements during its different phases, followed by gait retraining.
- AQPMA – Quadrant Level 1 and 2, Upper and Lower Limb: Post-graduate training program deepening knowledge, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
- Structural Myofascial Therapy (Level 1): Manual treatment approach targeting the fascia.
