Rio is a certified Somatic Therapist and Naturotherapist who takes an integrative approach to holistic wellness. With 16 years experience, she weaves together a wide range of modalities, having studied somatic therapy, somatic parts work, craniosacral, myofascial release, reflexology, energy work, holistic nutrition and therapeutic movement.
In sessions Rio addresses the physical, emotional, and energetic layers of health—supporting nervous system regulation, somatic-emotional release, integration, and a more empowered mind-body connection.
Rio is also certified in Neuro-linguistic Programming, Hypnosis Practitioner, and both Restorative Yoga and Nidra Yoga Instructor, and has been practicing Reiki since 2009. As a Holistic Health and Wellness Mentor certified through the International Association of Wellness Professionals, her mission is to guide clients toward optimal well-being by helping them uncover and process blockages, trauma, and self-limiting beliefs—empowering them to cultivate greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.
She offers insurance receipts as a Naturopathic Practitioner with the ACNN (Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada).
