Biography

Who is Julie?

I'm a girl who grew up in Lachine, and one fine June morning, I decided to become an osteopath! I've been practicing for nine years now. I grew up with the waterfront nearby, and swimming has always been a part of my life. In fact, it was the subject of my final thesis, since I was a competitive swimmer and a lifeguard for the city for almost ten years. I love snowboarding, skating, and oat milk cappuccinos. My children are my greatest joy in life, and I'm so happy to be their mom. One of my little pleasures is settling down by a window and getting lost in a good book.

Training and professional skills

A graduate since 2018, I studied at the Académie d’Ostéopathie de Montréal . When I saw that an Action Sport Physio was opening in my city, it was a golden opportunity to join the clinic's

multidisciplinary team. Over the years, and following the birth of my two children, I specialized in treating newborns and pregnant women. Rest assured, I enjoy helping all types of people and cases.

I quickly realized that by working as a team, it was possible to maximize people's results and improve their quality of life. What truly fascinates me is the analytical aspect of movement in osteopathy, finding the root cause of pain.

Here is an overview of my certifications:

  • [OSTEOPATHY FOR BABIES: REASONED AND REASONABLE - By Sébastien Brassard D.O. (fr)]: [From anatomy and pathophysiology to structural tissue practice in osteopathy for babies]
  • [PERINATAL CARE: PREGNANCY AND POST-PREGNANCY MONITORING - By Gilles Boudehen D.O. (fr)]: [Osteopathic follow-up during pregnancy]
  • [NEURO PROPRIOCEPTIVE TAPING]: [Taping technique for injuries or pain]
