Who is Raphaël?

I am passionate about movement and human performance, working as a physiotherapist at Action Sport Physio Maisonneuve Rosemont. I am driven by the desire to support my patients in their recovery and help them achieve their goals—whether it’s managing pain, returning to sport, or preventing injuries. Outside the clinic, I’m an avid triathlete who has participated in multiple competitions, including a half-Ironman, an Olympic triathlon, and several half-marathons. I’m currently training for the Ottawa Ironman in August 2025. These personal challenges help me better understand the realities of the athletes I treat. I also enjoy sharing knowledge through education—whether with my patients or through professional projects.

Training and professional skills

I graduated in physiotherapy in 2018 from Université de Montréal. This education allowed me to develop a clinical approach focused on functional rehabilitation, return-to-sport strategies, and patient education. My Master’s degree focused on the biomechanical analysis of downhill running, which led me to develop expertise in running-related injuries. I also had the opportunity to be the physiotherapist for the Carabins rugby team throughout my academic career. I continue to pursue advanced training to keep my skills up to date and to offer personalized and high-quality care.
