Biography
Who is Philip?
Philip Edwards is a physiotherapist and clinical exercise physiologist who aims to provide evidence-informed, client-centred care. He received his MSc Physiotherapy degree at Dalhousie University, after completing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Philip is is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).
In addition to his physiotherapy training, Philip is a licensed Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with a high-performance specialization through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). His combined background in physiotherapy and exercise physiology allows him to seamlessly integrate manual therapy with individualized exercise programming to support recovery, improve performance, and promote long-term resilience and health.
Philip is qualified to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including muscle strains, ligament sprains, and spine- and joint-related pain. His systematic approach emphasizes restoring movement, reducing pain, and empowering patients through education and active rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Philip enjoys playing baseball and basketball, resistance training, and hiking. He is committed to lifelong learning and continually seeks to refine his clinical skills to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
