Biography
Gabriele graduated in 2023 from Concordia University with a bachelor of science degree in health, kinesioloy and applied physiology with a specialization in Athletic Therapy. He obtained his designation of certified Athletic Therapist from the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) in 2022. He is also a certified massage therapist certified by the Association des Massotherapeutes du Quebec (AMQ).
Specialized in Swedish and deep tissue massage, possessing experience as a personal trainer, and with his knowledge in sports medicine, his approach to physical rehabilitation and pain management is centered on a blend of manual therapy and corrective exercise. Additionally he believes in the importance of strength training and conditioning in also being instrumental to injury prevention. He promotes the importance of massage therapy in conjunction with exercise in maintaining physical and mental health.
Gabriele has worked with a variety of athletes of different age groups. He has provided emergency care and first aid interventions for football, rugby, soccer and hockey teams across Montreal. He is currently working as an assistant athletic therapist with les Patriotes de CEGEP de Saint-Laurent and les Pantheres de College Regina Assumpta hockey teams.
Gabriele is an avid hockey and soccer fan and played competitive soccer for 6 years. He also enjoys the occasional hike, swimming, bouldering and weight training.
