Biography
Who is Nai?
I am a second-generation acupuncturist. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a scientific researcher and winning the Nobel Prize. A provincial math champion in high school, I declined a full scholarship from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Université Laval to direct my logical mind towards healthcare. My professional dream is to understand the meridians through modern neuroscience, in order to provide a stronger foundation to guide acupuncture research. In my free time, I have been teaching music for a youth wind orchestra since 2008.
Education and Professional Skills
I graduated in acupuncture from Collège Rosemont in 2022. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University. My clinical approach is influenced by my training in physiology and biomechanics, which allows me to apply traditional techniques with a modern understanding of the body. Thanks to my scientific background, I combine rigor and critical thinking to objectively evaluate the strengths and limitations of each method I have learned, so as to extract the best in an integrated and effective approach.
Here is an overview of my certifications :
- Dr. Tan’s Balance Method: A distal acupuncture technique aimed at relieving pain.
- Dr. Yamamoto’s Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA): A Japanese method based on reflex zones on the scalp, applicable for pain, internal diseases, and neurological disorders.
- Dr. Croom’s Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture: A technique used for wrinkles and facial firming.
- Dry Needling of Myofascial Trigger Points: A precise local application for treating muscular pain.
“Between tradition and innovation, rigor remains my guide.”
