Biography

Who is Milie?

I’m Milie, a passionate physiotherapy technologist who loves helping people regain their strength and confidence after injuries. I joined the Action Sport Physio team right after graduating from Cégep Marie-Victorin in 2021, and I’ve been learning and growing every day since. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, exploring new ways to move my body, and spending quality time with friends and family. I take pride in connecting with each client personally and celebrating their progress, no matter how small. My dream is to continue expanding my skills and making a meaningful impact in people’s recovery journeys.

Training and professional skills

I graduated as a Physiotherapy Technologist from Cégep Marie-Victorin in 2021 and am a proud member of the Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). Since joining Action Sport Physio, I have focused on supporting clients recovering from work-related accidents and have completed specialized training to address musculoskeletal injuries and mild traumatic brain injuries. My work combines evidence-based techniques with a personal touch to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes

Here is an overview of my certifications:

  • Neurodynamic Training: Assessment and treatment of neural mobility and nerve-related dysfunction to improve movement and reduce symptoms.
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation for the Physiotherapy Technologist: Management of dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders within physiotherapy care.
  • Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: From Injury to Return to Function: Evidence-based management of concussion from initial injury through functional recovery.
  • Persistent Symptoms Following Mild Traumatic Brain Injury / Concussion: Review and application of current evidence for managing ongoing post-concussion symptoms.
  • Manual Therapy for the Physiotherapy Technologist: Hands-on treatment techniques aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function.
“I’m committed to supporting my patients with care and understanding as they work toward returning to work and daily life with confidence.”
