Biography
Michalina obtained her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Sherbrooke and has been working in the private sector since 2016.
Over the last years, she has successfully treated an array of patients with orthopaedic ailments ranging from everyday aches and pains and sports injuries to pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation. She also does vestibular rehabilitation to treat people who commonly suffer from vertigo and other conditions related to vestibular (inner ear) dysfunctions. She sees people of all ages and caters her approach to each individual.
Throughout her practice, she has always built strong therapeutic relationships with her patients. Her strengths are in actively listening to her patients and guiding them through their rehabilitation journey. She always uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and education in her practice, as this has proven to be the method that yields the best results.
She always takes the time to explain to her patients the cause of their injuries and conditions so that they can properly understand their own bodies and healing process. She strongly believes that the better understanding you have of your body, the more that you adhere to the treatment plan and the quicker that you can see positive results.
It is important to her that you get the best treatment possible so that you can return to your desired activities and enjoy life fully.
