Mélanie Lalonde-Gagné

Graduated of the Université de Sherbrooke with a master's degree in physiotherapy after studying psychology, Mélanie joined the Action Sport Physio team as a physiotherapist in 2024, although she had already worked there since 2020 as a student. During her studies, she collaborated with the sports teams of the Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop's University, as well as with several elementary and secondary level teams, mainly in football. Mélanie obtained her sports first responder certification in September 2023. With her diverse experiences, she has a keen interest in the sports field and has completed various internships, both in the private and public sectors, allowing her to work with a diverse clientele, including pediatrics and the elderly. This versatility has helped to forge her profile as a complete physiotherapist, driven by the curiosity to always learn more. Mélanie obtained her certification to prescribe X-rays in 2024. Outside of her work, Mélanie has an interest in various physical activities such as mountain hiking, swimming and gym workouts, which occupy a central place in her life.
